Always More Than Temptation

She’s going to marry me. Once I’m back from California. Jeremy thought watching Aura dress.

She felt his eyes on her. Aura and her children had been living with Jeremy for the past three months. They had a wedding planned in three more months, but Jeremy was impatient. He struggled with them cohabiting. He wanted them married, sooner rather than later.

She was wearing a black dress with a bare back. She was on her way to a Minority Women Attorneys function. Amy was going with her. Jeremy walked towards her taking in her form. Her hair was shaved in the back showing her long, sexy neck. He kissed her shoulder blade, causing her body to react before turning her to face him. His eyes were intense with love.

“You’re so beautiful and I love you so much.” He said gruffly. “This wait is killing me.”

“It’s hard for me too. Let’s talk when you return from California.”

In two days, Jeremy and JII were flying to Los Angeles for JII to see Francine. They hadn’t seen Francine in almost eight months. For the past three months she was Hawaiian island hopping but returned to work on a three song LP with Miko. Jeremy told her he was bringing JII to see her. He asked Aura to come and bring the kids, but she told him they needed to do it alone. Francine didn’t need to deal with her and him.

“That’s a plan. We will only be there two nights.” He said, placing his forehead on hers. Francine not seeing JII bothered him a great deal. Aura understood because MII was now sporadic on coming to see their twins. Rather than every three weeks it had been almost six weeks for the second time. It seemed MII and Fran couldn’t abide seeing their exes happy with someone else.
